If you want to visit a real pub then a visit to the Low House is just what you’re looking for. Step inside this 15th century thatched building and find yourself travelling back in time. Fight for a spot in the high backed settles in front of a real fire and head for the bar, ah wait…. there is no bar! Beer is served traditionally straight from the cask in the tap room. Of course, some things have to change and the wine list at the Low house is bang up to date.

Horse and carriage rides are available at weekends in the summer outside the pub and can be pre-booked the rest of the year. There’s also a holiday let – a self contained cottage to sleep two.

Morris dancers, plays and live music in the garden add to the magic of this hidden gem and, if the staff think that work is just a holiday, think how much you’ll enjoy it! Look forward to seeing you soon.
